CONVERSATIONS are just that…a CONVERSATION around a topic. A speaker presents a topic, which is followed by a CONVERSATION, follows over tea or coffee for one hour plus. In poetry and song, Malgorzata and others, will present this wonderful experience to us. In a globalized world and a multi-cultural Ireland, this 13th century poem, brought alive by Malgorzata, is a parable for our own time. Not to be missed! Jenkins’s ‘Armed Man’ to be performed again in Killeagh Church, Sunday November 23drd. Back by popular demand Karl Jenkins’s ‘Armed Man’ will be performed again in Killeagh Church with a choir of 80 voices and 40 piece orchestra. This spectacular and moving contemporary orchestral and choral work by Jenkins is so pertinent to the remembrance of World War 1 and our own 25th anniversary of peace that it is so fitting that this work be performed again.
